Welcome to 1 Royal Street Guesthouse in Riebeek Kasteel, a unique and charming boutique guesthouse nestled in the heart of one of the oldest and most historic towns in South Africa. Located at the foot of the majestic Kasteelberg mountain in the stunning Swartland region, the guesthouse is housed in a beautifully restored old Victorian house.

Accommodation

The guesthouse rooms are furnished with King-size beds and have en-suite bathrooms. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, a stocked mini-bar fridge, a TV with Netflix and DStv apps, a fan, coffee and tea facilities, as well as free Wi-Fi access.

Breakfast & Dining

The three-course breakfast begins with the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked croissants, still warm from the oven. Accompanied by a selection of homemade jams and marmalade, locally sourced cold meats and cheeses. As you move on to the second course, refreshing combination of farm-made yogurt, homemade muesli and a vibrant assortment of seasonal fruits with a drizzle of locally sourced honey. Our third course presents a true masterpiece: a freshly whipped vanilla French crêpe with maple syrup and sliced bananas and a touch from our very own garden, where we cultivate organic mint and lemons.

On Site Facilities

We invite you to indulge in a refreshing dip in our pool, but don't forget to pack your sun protection as the sun shines bright in our valley. We welcome you to relax through our garden, where we celebrate and nurture all creatures and greenery, dedicating our time to planting new species and trees, each with a unique story to share!

Our solar panels are up and running, generating green energy and providing our guests with round-the-clock electricity.
