She is one of the grand old dames of the valley; a 100-and-something year old manor house that guards Riebeek Kasteel’s south eastern entrance on Hermon Road.
Sam Rogers and Jacques Pauw - former award winning investigative journalists and documentary filmmakers recently revamped her from head to toe and decorated her with an eclectic mix of art and collectibles accumulated from their travels around the world.

Enjoyed our stay at this delightful and quirky place which is full of interesting tidbits and a lovely garden which is unfortunately struggling with the severe water shortages in South Africa and the heat. Rooms were lovely and comfortable, service excellent and meals very good. We would definitely go back.
