AirVentures Hot Air Ballooning offers daily balloon flights, all year round, over the Cradle of Humankind, Magaliesberg, and selected game reserves. Our flights are customised to provide fun and excitement for anyone. We cater for the romantic couple to the larger groups, as well as corporate and incentive events.

We offer two different flight packages, the Classic and Safari Flight experiences on either one of our larger passenger balloons or our Exclusive balloon flight for two:

In line with traditional balloon flights, our Classic Flight offers guests the serene beauty of floating gently over the Cradle of Humankind or the Magaliesberg, while sipping on champagne, as the pilot allows the balloon at times to drift at tree top height and at other times will ascend into the skies, offering guests a panoramic view of the beautiful African landscape below.

Our Safari Flight takes the Classic flight beyond traditional boundaries, and is the ultimate in game viewing experiences. Approximately 80% of our flights have sightings of at least two of the Big Five within the hour’s flight. The flight launches from the heart of the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve and usually covers a large portion of the Reserve before moving into the surrounding game reserves, offering guests unique game viewing and photographic opportunities.
