About Catch a local Rugby Game

Show off your beefy legs in your favourite team's coloured shorts and run out 'the tunnel' onto the field following the footsteps of rugby legends in an official stadium tour.
Home to the Vodacom Stormers, Newlands Rugby Stadium, built in 1890 is the second oldest rugby stadium in the world and a first-hand witness of countless sporting warriors and legendary matches. This venue changed the course of South African history in the 1995 Rugby World Cup where the Springboks defeated the Australian defenders at the opening game and went on to win the Championship and unite a country.
Watching a live game will give you the satisfaction of 'coaching' from the sidelines and the safety of numbers shielding your criticism from a dozen ox-strong players who can't pin point your position in the crowd. Retracing your rugby heroes career through a tour given through the eyes of a player will guide you through the players locker rooms, surgery and onto the chalk marked grass of the fields. Streaking is not encouraged but stalkers are welcome.
