This is one of the oldest wine areas of the Cape, and the hardy vines are gorgeous backdrops to the tastefully appointed lodgings of the Constantia Cottages. The recently renovated spacious one-room-apartment has a lounge with fully equipped open-plan kitchen and a comfortable bedroom section. Glass double door leading onto a private terrace facing the main garden. Four-seater dining table and a very smart stone bench with cozy big cushions. The lounge has a sleeper-couch with coffee-table and cupboard (incl. Smart-TV) and the bedroom is fitted with a king-size-bed. Lounge / bedroom is fitted with an air con-system.

The apartment has one bedroom with en-suite bathroom (big shower cabin, long bath tub). The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (king-size, two separate mattresses in extra length) and a beautiful wooden wardrobe. The lounge with TV-corner (55” Smart-TV) and fully fitted open-plan kitchen has a big window with beautiful view to Table mountain and a sliding door (3 meter width) leading to a recessed balcony with a nice view to the garden and the swimming pool. Lounge and bedroom are fitted with an air con-system.
SUITE SHIRAZ:
Big apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both with big walk-in showers, the en-suite bathroom fitted with a very nice free-standing bath tub. Our small Cottage sleeps two in a Queen-size bed plus max. two kids on a comfortable sofa bed (137cm width). It is fitted with a kitchenette and a dining table for four. The bathroom has shower cabin, toilet and granite-top basin. A sliding door leads onto the private 60sqm patio / garden with braai facility. This cozy holiday home has got its own private entrance to the premises and is totally separated from the other accommodation units (pet-friendly). Secure parking for one car in garage.
COTTAGE CABERNET:
Our double-storey Cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom (en-suite to both) on the first floor. The master bedroom is equipped with a King-size bed, the second bedroom with a Queen-size-bed, each with a big wardrobe. The bathroom has a big shower cubicle, designer basin, corner-bath and toilet. Separate guest-toilet on the ground floor. The granite-top kitchen is open-plan to the lounge and fully equipped with modern quality appliances.

Na, das war mal wieder ein toller Urlaub! Schon zum zweiten Mal trieb uns unser Fernweh zum Western Cape. Wie auch bereits beim letzten Mal waren die „Constantia Cottages“ wieder unsere Start- und Endunterkunft. Vom Flughafen ist dieses Ziel einfach prima zu erreichen und obwohl man zentral in Kapstadt ist, ist es doch sehr ruhig gelegen und man kann nach dem langen Flug herrlich ausspannen. Am besten bei strahlendem Sonnenschein an dem jetzt neu gestalteten, beheizten Swimmingpool, gleichzeitig lässt sich dabei ein Blick auf den Tafelberg erhaschen oder abends in den Sternenhimmel. Die Junior-Suite „Pinotage“ hat zu unserem Wohlbefinden auch dieses Mal wieder beigetragen. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, bequemes Bett mit Blick in den Garten oder für den, der das im Urlaub unbedingt gebraucht auch auf den Fernseher. Bei Fragen zu Ausflugszielen in die wunderschöne Umgebung oder zu tollen Restaurants stehen einem die Eigentümer gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Dadurch haben wir so manches Insiderlokal kennengelernt, in dem man wahrscheinlich ansonsten nicht gelandet wäre. Ach ja, da kommt man jetzt noch wieder ins Schwärmen. Wir waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal da.
