About Brighton Beach and Cave Rock
Brighton Beach is the perfect spot for surfers, catch a wave or two at one of the best surf spots in South Africa - Cave Rock. The waves are exciting and barrel frequently due to the large swell, however some major storms in 2006 have hindered the wave slightly, but this is still a firm favourite surf spot. Don’t forget to watch out for the large rock reef.
When you’re not watching the surfers you can lather yourself up with suntan lotion and work on that tan, but remember to stay out of the sun during the hard midday rays. During low tide your children will have a ball exploring the numerous rock pools that reveal themselves at this time. It’s an opportunity to teach your little ones about the marine life they can see.
