18 Pioneer Kloof is a highly recommended Kloof Bed & Breakfast providing accommodation in 5 guest rooms for anyone visiting the Valley of 1000 Hills region.
About 18 Pioneer Kloof
18 Pioneer is an elegant Colonial estate set on three beautiful acres of manicured lawns and gardens. The property was built originally for the Payne Bros of Payne Bros departmental stores in 1900. We have Plane trees that are over 100 years old.
The garden is frequented by an abundance of bird life including Cranes, Storks and Geese as well as three resident Guinea fowl.
Accommodation
The five bedrooms are well appointed and are all en-suite. Tea and coffee, soaps, shampoo and conditioner are all supplied.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in 'The Green Room' which looks out onto the pool (with fountain) and garden. Bacon and eggs is a firm favorite, however we can cater for all tastes.
Facilities
There is a main lounge area with all channels of TV, as well as a reading lounge with a fireplace for those chilly winters. Our bar is well stocked (also with fireplace and TV) and can entertain up to 30 guests.
We have an expansive veranda to sit quietly and take in the surrounds or watch the sunset!
Parking for up to 30 cars is available. Access is very easy, we are 500m from the M13 to Durban.

Everything about our stay was incredible. We arrived late on a Sunday night, and Ange waited up to greet us and get us settled in. The accommodation was superb, and Joyce made a really tasty breakfast for us every morning. Overall 10/10 for the entire experience and will definitely stay there again whenever I visit the Durban area.
