Route 24 Pub & Grill boasts many breakfast options on the menu, from creamy, fluffy scrambled eggs, served on two slices of toast and tea or coffee, through to full English breakfasts with ‘the works’, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, french fries even burger patties and baked beans! There are also toasted sarmies and delicious omelettes on offer, as well as a breakfast buffet.

The diner is open from ‘8 til late’, so there are lunch and dinner dishes available too. For starters, there are lip-smacking options, such as crumbed calamari, peri-peri chicken livers and creamy mussels.

We suggest sampling at least one of their massive burgers, which come in a variety of styles, with a sauce list to die for. But it’s not just a ‘diner’ menu, there are a few other local favourites there too, including curries and every steak you could desire.
