About Shire Wild Bulb Nursery

The Shire Wild Bulb Nursery is an indigenous nursery with a large range of indigenous trees and an extensive collection of Eastern Cape bulbs, some of which are endangered species. The nursery supplies both indigenous trees and bulbs, focusing on an extensive range of Eastern Cape bulb species.

Most of our bulbs are summer growing species which have a dormant period during winter. These bulbs are available in dry form and orders can be posted. We also supply a number of winter growing amaryllid bulbs. We also supply a number of bulbs in bags which are available all year round at the nursery.
