Just south of Phalaborwa in the scenic South African province of Limpopo, is the magnificent Grietjie Private Nature Reserve. This is part of the greater Balule Nature Reserve, which is, in turn, part of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Part of Grietjie is situated on the perennial Olifants River. This area is also part of the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Reserve, which has been accredited by UNESCO and is unique for its distinct biodiversity and undeniable beauty.
