Beverley Grove, Port Elizabeth
Beverley Grove is a residential suburb that is flanked by the similar areas of Ben Kamma and Lorraine. It is situated on the outskirts of the commercial and retail hubs of Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape, and enjoys close proximity to the pretty farmlands and smallholdings of the Friendly City as well as to the malls and other convenient facilities.
The homes here are a mixture of townhouse complexes (especially suited for first-time home owners), small holdings and large houses that are ideal for a growing family.
Beverley Grove is close to Kragga Kamma, which leads to Seaview. This means that it is situated nearby to a number of attractions, including the Kragga Kamma Game Reserve, Seaview Lion Park and the magnificent, untouched beaches of the wilder side of Port Elizabeth (Blue Horizon Bay, Maitlands, Schoenmakerskop and Sardinia Bay). The Walker Drive Shopping Centre is minutes away, and has plenty of shops, a supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops. Greenacres and Walmer Park malls are both about 15 minutes' drive away.
The better-known beaches, characterised by warm, calm waters and gorgeous expanses of white sand, are about 20 minutes' drive away. These include Hobie, King's and Humewood beaches. Thousands of people flood to PE every year to spend time swimming, tanning and playing on these renowned beaches.
