Overnight? Stay at accommodation in Robertson, in Western Cape

Situated right at the centre of the Robertson Wine Route in the Western Cape province, Majorís Hill is accessible, as well as being the beautiful home of a range of fabulous wines. Because of the unique climate of this area, both red and white wines are successfully produced here. Majorís Hill produces Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

To retain the integrity of the grape, Majorís Hill still uses traditional wine-making methods. The grapes are harvested and chosen by hand. The low annual yield is proof that this wine estate prizes quality, not quantity. The bottling is done on the farm, so that the grapes do not need to be transported elsewhere.

Share in the excitement of the wine-making process by visiting the cellar and watching the pros in action. Visitors can also explore the mountains and valleys of the Robertson and Breede River area if they are looking to experience the true, unadulterated beauty of South Africa.
