Glass bottles on wooden tables cater for snacky or substantial appetites in a courtyard or covered setting. Quote lined walls scribe celebrity drinker's words of wisdom while cosy conversation flows over wine.
The Nose is simple and stylish believing that one's nose should at all times be stuck in a wine glass and never in the air. The wine list features at least 40 ever changing favourites, all unusually available by glass/bottle affording opportunities to explore new wineries. The only selection factor of the well wined owners; intense enjoyment. Adventurous quaffing highlights wine of the moment and eternal classics from award winning and yet undiscovered vineyards.
Only South African wine and home-made food are served at this city cellar. Educated hosts share wine knowledge and experience freely whilst perfectly matching varietal to meals. Inexpensive wine flights arrange themselves as private tastings to acquaint visitors with essential South African grapes across all vineyards. Introductory wine courses introduce the winemakers to wine lovers with once a week tastings of at least 6 wines, running over 6 weeks.
No pretences, every vine, Wi-Fi and wine. Kids menu and baby changing facilities.
