Camps Bay Beach is the camp ground of sun tanners and sundowners capturing a clear ocean between Lions Head and Table Mountain. Cafes, bars and restaurants stand mountain side of the beach drive while sand, palm trees and gleaming water falls ocean side. A cosmopolitan lifestyle of see and be seen fashionistas meets a beach town dream-style of sea and be scene.
No stairs makes for easy beach access with stares into the excess blue making for easy beach days. Rented deck chairs start the day parallel to the shore as serious sunbathers track the African suns path finally facing soft waves perpendicular for sunset. Get your toes bitten by the frosty Atlantic water on a long cross beach stroll so that they warn your body of the refreshment to be experienced on the return swim. A professional rub-down at the permanent massage gazebo completes the service of vacation relaxation. Volleyball, beach bats and Frisbee keep beach-goers fit, mobile vendors keep them refreshed. Children play all day, dogs walk early mornings and late evenings but the wind can come up at any time and blow you away so take the first windless opportunity to get swept away by this beaches beauty.
Park where you can and stay for the day. Umbrellas are for hire, sunglasses are for sale, kelp is no-where to be seen and memories are forever.
