Didn't make the Idols cut? Dizzy's has a stage for you! Tuesday nights are Karaoke kingdom and an open mic policy means no judges (officially, but show business can be tough). Show off your shower rehearsed love songs or jam out a rock song on your air guitar.

Lovely or lousy, civilian singing means audience entertainment is guaranteed. Paid musical talent performs live other nights with DJ's taking over from local bands mixing deep into the night. Student nights mean shooter specials although seniors take advantage too. Near the beach but good for all seasons; bond on a barstool, collapse into a couch, talk at a table, anything goes. The pizzas are legendary, the booze is cold, the view is of the car park, the interiors are dingy but the vibe is cool so come casual and bring a sense of humour.
