Once you've booked your Alldays accommodation explore our pages for info on attractions and what to do in Alldays.
The distinctly rural town of Alldays, about 120 kilometres from Musina, lies within view of the effortless Soutpansberg Mountains, providing a constant purple hue in the land of huge baobabs, incredible sunsets, soaring temperatures and a huge variety of wildlife - the main reason for heading up to the northern parts of the country.
The unspoilt, arid beauty of the area around Alldays is largely devoid of human activity and given over mainly to huge tracts of private game and hunting farms, although the De Beers Venetia Diamond Mine is a major diamond operation in the vicinity that is the country’s largest producer of diamonds. Alldays is the site of a massive fig tree that claims to be bigger than the Wonder Tree in Tshwane. And the town lies within easy reach of other giant trees - a baobab at Bakleikraal and a nyala tree that is said to encompass a surface area of a hundred square metres.
The Limpopo Wilderness Hiking Trail, 35 kilometres over three days, takes in some incredible birdlife and a large variety of indigenous trees along the Limpopo River. This guided hike is physically undemanding and covers short enough distances every day to allow time to explore and spend time at various pools in the river - a magical wilderness experience that includes sightings of crocodile, hippo, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, klipspringer and kudu, amongst others.
