On the last Sunday of every month, The Kirstenbosch Craft Market in Cape Town takes place in the grounds of "The Cottages" which are located opposite the main entrance to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Here, you will find 250 local artists and crafters showcasing and selling a variety of hand-crafted gifts and keepsakes at great prices.

Handmade toys, beautifully detailed clothing, ornaments, kitchenware, décor items and so much more are on offer at this lively market. The friendly vendors are keen to welcome visitors and share their insights into the fresh produce and gorgeous finds.

Of course, the market wouldn’t be complete without some moreish treats and a hot coffee, an ice-cold craft beer (perfect for summer days), or an acclaimed South African wine.

Live music always sets a fun tone. The different artists that make their appearances at the Kirstenbosch Craft Market certainly do their bit in getting the vibe going.
