About Geet Indian Restaurant
With a title that translates to ‘melodious poem’, the mood is set for an unforgettable experience in Indian cuisine at Geet. A family-run concern, Geet was started by Gita Jivan from nothing but passion and a love of food.
Gita is helped by her father and grand-daughter, and together they create a constantly evolving Indian dining experience, inspired by fresh seasonal ingredients, using classic techniques. Each dish is innovative and unique, drawing on the rich cultures in South Africa and India, which result in a treat for your taste buds. You’ll find that unique ‘Geet twist’ to all your favourite Indian dishes, which keeps so many of their customers coming back again and again.
The best spices, fresh ingredients and fresh herbs are used to create the zingy curries and zesty dishes that Geet is known for, transporting you to the various regions of India that have inspired each dish. Geet is an absolute treat for vegetarians who are so often overlooked, especially in South Africa.
