Situated Between Sedgefield and Knysna, and on the road to the beautiful Buffalo Bay Beach (Buffelsbaai Road), these rides are fantastic for everyone, from children under six years of age to older ones that feel like trying something new.

The rides and horses are available all year round. The stables are on the doorstep of the Goukamma River, and are home to impressive thoroughbreds and friendly miniature horses. Little ones (usually under six years of age) love riding and interacting with the miniatures, which are less imposing and far more manageable. Each horse here has been picked for its patient, obedient temperament, and each has a unique and charming personality that shines through as one talks, scratches and nuzzles them.

For beginners and those that are a bit more experienced, Buffalo Bay Horse Rides offers one-hour and two-hour rides through the local forests of the Garden Route. These forests are lush, verdant in their abundance and absolutely exquisite to experience. Exploring them on horseback affords just about everyone the opportunity to be part of these gorgeous outdoors at a comfortable pace.
