About the NovemBeer Festival

Dates for 2019 to be confirmed >> The Novembeer Festival, hosted by the ROOT44 Market in Stellenbosch (Western Cape), will be held on 25 and 26 November 2017. This event is rather special because it showcases beers that are a little out of the ordinary; rarer and generally more difficult to find. So, whether you’re a keen beer-o or someone that is just willing to try something new, the Novembeer Festival will have something right up your alley.

This craft beer market will be hosting a number of excellent breweries. These include:

• Jack Black's Brewing Company
• Kings Craft Brewing Company
• Sir Thomas Brewing Company

• Cederberg Brewery
• The Stellenbosch Brewing Company
• Urban Brewing Company
• Zebonkey Brewery
• Table Mountain Breweries
• Boet Beer Brewing Company

In addition to tasting the unique brews that each of these breweries has on offer, visitors to the festival can enjoy delicious food and a full weekend of live entertainment, which always sets the scene for a sun-in-the-South-African-sun kind of vibe. Of course, the beers and ciders are the highlight, and visitors will be able to taste, and buy their favourites to enjoy at the festival or at home.

Tickets cost R100 each and include a branded beer glass. They can be bought from the Blue Moon Bar at the ROOT44 Market, or booked in advance by emailing info@root44.co.za. The doors will open at 11h00 and close at 17h00 on both days. Stellenbosch is a historical university town that is less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town.
