About the Darling Summer Beer Festival
In December the little Western Cape town of Darling will spring into action as it welcomes beer-lovers from around the world to the Darling Summer Beer Festival. This part of the country is usually quiet, known best for the wild flowers that come up in August and September. But, the beer festival changes all that, if for only a day.
The proud hosts of this event are the Darling Brew’s Brewery themselves, and they beckon others to join them as they provide unique crafted beers and ciders amidst a fantastic vibe. Some of the breweries that can be expected at the festival include:

• Riot Factory Craft Beer
• Garagista Beer Company
• Mountain Brewing Company
• Black Eagle Brewing Company
• D'Cider
In addition to the awesome beers to taste and buy, there will also be live music and plenty of food stalls to keep visitors to the festival happy and full all day. There is ample parking available too. This is a great day out for families, friends and tour groups looking for something a little less mainstream.
Tickets are available online (Webtickets) and will cost R120 for adults and R80 for children over 12. Children younger than 12 years old can come to the festival at no charge. Darling is just over an hour from Cape Town and the Winelands.
