Weavind Park, Pretoria
Weavind Park is a verdant suburb in the gorgeous town of Pretoria. This is one of the capital cities of South Africa, and is situated just outside Johannesburg in Gauteng Province. It is known for its scenic suburbs and wide roads, which are cast under the shade of the lush purple Jacaranda blooms.
Weavind Park is situated near to the National Botanical Gardens of Pretoria, which make for a glorious day trip for young and old, locals and tourists alike. These display the colours and scents for which South African flora has become so well known and loved all over the world.
Menlyn Mall is a very popular shopping mall that is situated near Weavind Park, and provides the ideal retreat for shopaholics as well as the go-to spot for those simply wanting to stock up. There are also plenty of entertainment options here.
Weavind Parks has beautiful homes with gardens that are gorgeously maintained and overflowing with colourful blooms and indigenous greenery. Because of the lushness of the suburb, it attracts a number of different bird species. These range from hoepoes and crested barbets to blue waxbills and grey loeries.
Due to its convenient location, Weavind Park continues to be the stopover of choice for those visiting the world-renowned Kruger National Park.
