The promise of peace and quiet and a restful stay drew us to Hambleden and we were not disappointed!
We stayed 10 days over the new year in the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it, very clean and comfortable. We were very spoilt with a supply of eggs, lemons, and freshly dug potatoes. Leonard was a gem, and couldn't do enough for us. We definitely recommend Hambleden and hope to return one day. |

We had the most enjoyable stay at Hambleden - my only complaint is that it was too short! Debbie is a wonderful hostess and spoilt us with homegrown lemons and farm fresh eggs. The cottage was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable and well stocked with clean linen, towels and crockery. My girls had a ball fishing in the dam and walking in the beautiful surroundings. We will definately be back for a visit as soon as possible and hopefully get a chance to use the enormous fireplace inside! |
