The Hillcrest Heritage Market (also known as the Heritage Market), is held on the last Sunday of each month. This craft market, found on the 1000 Hills Tourist Route, offers a wonderful morning of entertainment; one can shop at the market itself and then have lunch (or breakfast depending on how early a riser you are!) at the Heritage Centre itself.
Delicious breads, tarts and pies are available as are farm fresh fruit and vegetables. Cheeses, olives, sundried tomatoes and a variety of meats are also available all the ingredients for a perfect picnic lunch. If you would like something sweet for afterwards try a yummy cupcake.
Restored furniture, paintings and rugs are for sale at the market as are second hand books, wine racks, gumboots for rainy days and a host of other treasures.
