Positioned high in the hills of Babanango Game Reserve, Hill Top House offers an intimate escape where style and seclusion meet. With space for six guests, the home comprises three thoughtfully decorated bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite and feature underfloor heating for a touch of warmth and indulgence.

At the heart of the lodge lies a spacious open-plan living area, featuring a comfortable lounge with a fireplace and an adjoining dining space that flows into a modern, fully equipped kitchen.

The outdoor areas invite relaxation, with a generous patio, private swimming pool, braai facilities, and an expansive deck offering sweeping views over the undulating reserve. Evenings can be spent around the boma, where a firepit and seating create the perfect setting for stargazing and storytelling.

For added convenience, Hill Top House provides complimentary Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping, and a backup generator to ensure uninterrupted comfort throughout your stay.

Babanango Game Reserve is situated in the heart of Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, and represents one of Southern Africa’s most visionary rewilding initiatives. Spanning more than 20,000 hectares, the reserve occupies an ancient landscape shaped by millennia of geological activity and steeped in the cultural legacy of the Zulu people.

The dramatic terrain of mountains and valleys is home to an astonishing diversity of wildlife, including rare sightings such as aardvark and aardwolf. With the reintroduction of the African elephant, the reserve now boasts Big Five status, offering guests a rare opportunity to witness a full spectrum of Africa’s iconic species.
