International Kite Board Organisation (IKO) modules are taught by IKO qualified instructors on the Durban beaches ideal for this action sport of Kiteboarding. Ocean 2 Air will have you harnessing the powers of the wind in the pleasure of the water; guiding you through all techniques and safety for the ultimate Indian Ocean wave and wind interchange.
Flying a kite that can launch and land you oceanside requires a level of skill more advanced than a childhood full of ribboned kited afternoons advancing from kite string and smiles to kite lines and thrills; building a repertoire of equally fond moments. The orientation of wind, power zones and kite flying are learnt. Set-up, launching, and landing are assisted. Body dragging and re-launching are facilitated. Safety systems and emergency procedures are advised. Kites, kiteboards, harnesses and safety gear are available for purchase or hire.
The level of kiting advancement experienced in a day is by your desire, the level of adrenalin released is on your approval and the opportunity to enjoy the ideal conditions of wind, warm water and expert instruction is at your fingertips. Go fly a kite!
