This intimate 165 seater theatre is Durban's only theatre with bay vistas. Built on the Catalina Flying Boats Control Tower at Durban's Harbour the theme is maintained throughout the glass building with well-placed propellers adding aviation personality. While the theatre logo might be a plane that can land on water, the productions with their wide scope of appeal can land on any audience. Season tickets and buy one get one free specials support patrons of live entertainment. New live shows are staged every 2-3 weeks and are advertised on Durban street poles (or join their mailing list). Kiddie’s shows include clowns and free boat rides, great for family entertainment. Giggle fits are provoked at the comedy (sometimes open-mike) gigs, your inner air-guitarist is encouraged for live rock concerts and the dramatic productions will grip you. The theatre's private bar has breathtaking views across the harbour marina and a full meal can be enjoyed pre or post theatre at Wilson's Wharf.
