Pannevis Charters, the oldest and most experienced fishing charter company in Port Edward, offers the adventure of a lifetime to keen fishermen of all ages and levels.

A typical day would start at 6am, Danie and Vicky Basson meet you at Port Edward main beach (Silver Beach). Danie explains how the launch will work while Vicky films some stuff for your optional DVD. The boat gets offloaded into the water, everyone hops on and its off into the great big blue for a fun filled day of fishing. Danie is a master at game and bottom fishing, and has won numerous competitions. He is great with people and fantastic with kids. No matter what your skill level, he makes sure you will come home with lots of fish to brag about.

His right hand man, Bheki is there to sort out your bait, tie on your hooks, unstick your line from the rocks and clean your fish, all you need to do is reel them in. There is a sound system on board and Vicky offers an optional lunch box if you're too lazy to pack your own.

The day lasts between 5 and 8 hours, and by the time you arrive back at the beach there are loads of people dying to see what you caught. Then its off to Danie's house where Bheki cleans and sorts the fish while you enjoy a cold beer and Danie explains how to cook your catch to perfection. Vicky finishes the DVD and delivers it to you the next day.

The cost is per person (please enquire about our rates), or you can book the whole boat for you and your buddies (up to 8 fishing, or 12 sight seeing). Danie also offers pleasure trips (minimum 6 persons) which last between 1 and 2 hours.
