Smelt Glass Studio is a great little glass blowing studio where you can see live glass blowing demonstrations by local artists throughout the week. They also have a shop where you can buy the artists' creations - all unique, all South African.

On Saturdays, Smelt hosts workshops for beginners, but you have to book in advance. The centre also has a great deli where you buy food by weight and lots of cool shops like SA fashion designers Black Coffee.
