About The Art Farm Craft Yard Market
The Art Farm in Eikenhoff is the proud home of the Craft Yard Market, where families enjoy coming together to enjoy gorgeous goodies, delicious food, and a great vibe. All of this can be enjoyed on the scenic farm, just outside Alberton in Gauteng. As an added bonus, visitors to the market are welcome to bring their dogs along to be part of the fun.
The market showcases a wide variety of fresh produce, cheese, delicious freshly-baked cakes, biscuits, rusks, biltong, meat and preserves. At the Food Court, meals can be savoured while the little ones play in the kiddies’ area. Of course, a locally made craft beer rounds off the food to perfection.
Handmade wooden crafts and unique beaded items are stunning keepsakes and reminders of your time in South Africa. Artists are invited to exhibit their pieces in the Art in the Garden section of the Craft Yard and are available to buy. These are very special additions to any home. There are also shops with décor, clothing, and accessories; making this a shopaholics’ dream place to spend a Saturday morning. The Art Farm Craft Yard Market is a supplier of Tjhoko paint and other art and craft items for anyone feeling creative and ready for a change.
Live music is played all day long, adding to the vibrant setting.
The Art Farm has its own coffee shop, restaurant, art gallery, and winery. There is even a farmyard with animals that little ones can touch and feed, and ponies to ride. The market is open every Saturday from 09h00 to 15h00. It is perfect for families that want to spend some time together, couples looking to decorate their new home, or creatives that need ideas and supplies.
