Do a Snake Course

Do a Snake Course which is approved by the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA). Snake Courses for the general public, are held throughout the year at the Hartbeespoort Dam Snake & Animal Park. The courses cater for beginners to advanced. Courses are FGASA approved and certificates are issued to those who achieve a satisfactory standard.

The Park is well known for the special lectures and courses it provides to companies such as those from the mining industry, whose employees are regularly exposed to snakes. Courses have also been presented to paramedics, nature conservation officers, game park field officers, SA Police Services, SA Defense Force and the fire and ambulance services.

Snake Courses include Snake Awareness Lecture, Snake Handling / Rescue Course and Snakebite and Treatment.
