Cinnamon Boutique Restaurant has been voted one of the top ten best restaurants in the Garden Route, by CXpress, Gastro Nomix and Seidelberg Wines, and judging by their menu, we think they are deserving of the accolades. Situated within the guesthouse environs, patrons pass through tropical gardens before entering the ladies bar for their welcome drink. The setting is decadent - paprika red, with high-back chairs and fine silver cutlery. Order some fine bubbly and peruse the impressive starter menu, boasting a plethora of dishes comprising unforgettable flavour combinations.

The rosettes of smoked salmon on potato rosti, and fresh rocket leaves with pickled quail eggs, enhanced by a pomegranate and balsamic reduction look out-of-this-world, while the Tantalising Seafood Trio is a real South African gem of a dish, with a twist. The ostrich or springbok Carpaccio is served on a bed of watercress, with warm potato salad and the duck samoosas are another South African dish, with a twist, served with avocado mayo, cucumber ribbons and Asian dipping sauce.

Highlights on the main menu, include the pepper fillet, fillet of fresh gunnard and the kudu fillet. Relax after dinner with a digestif from the bar, and enjoy a delicious dessert to round off a perfect, luxurious experience.
