Benoni Golf Course, Morris Avenue, Morehill, Benoni, Johannesburg, Gauteng / Benoni Country Club is well known as a first class golfing facility with it's meandering tree lined fairways and greens. However the Benoni Country Club has greatly developed its facilities from purely a golf club.
Course Details
18 holes, par-73, rating 72, 6580 metres. The course has a flat, well treed parkland layout with excellent Kikuyu fairways and gently undulating bent grass greens. There are bunkers on every hole (fine silicone sand) and five dams. A quick glance at the Benoni Country Club scorecard will reveal that there are 5 par-fives to contend with, all of which are more than 500 metres long.
The two closing holes at this big East Rand club are both 506 metres long. The 18th is an outstanding hole with a forest on the right of the fairway and a dam (one of five on the course) running almost the entire length of the hole on the left-hand side
