Package Tour - 10 Day Into Africa Self Drive Tour

Categories: Big 5 / Self Drive / Wildlife

Experience the true essence of Africa on this 10 day journey of discovery. From the dizzying heights of the Drakensberg Mountain Range to the depths of the Blyde River Canyon, walk with the ancestors through ancient lands and come face to face with the creatures who have walked with them. Be dazzled by city lights under African skies with a visit to the commercial hubs of Johannesburg and Pretoria. For the history buff, both have much to offer. Pretoria’s Voortrekker Monument bears witness to the hardiness of the Voortrekkers who forged their way by wagon through unforgiving terrain. For the commercially minded, Johannesburg is South Africa’s “Egoli” meaning “Place of Gold”. The splendor of the Drakensberg will have you gasping for breath and a three night stay in the world famous Kruger National Park will ensure a face to face encounter with Africa’s big five. If you weren’t paying enough attention, day nine’s drive through the Pilansberg National Park will present more game viewing opportunities. Bath in the warm waters of Bela-Bela or find your place in the sun at Sun City. This truly African sojourne will leave you with memories of wood smoke and sunsets, African Style!
