West Beach, Blaauwberg
West Beach is the ideal destination to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. West Beach is situated on an elevated portion of Table View and offers uninterrupted views of Table Mountain, Robben Island as well as Table Bay. The development lies along the Western Coastline just south of Bloubergstrand.
West Beach is one of Cape Towns most upmarket estate developments launched during November 1989. The demand for properties was beyond the expectations of the developer. When first launched in November 1989 the plots were selling from R65 000. Today, one would be difficult to find a view-plot for less than R1 Million.
West Beach represents some of the finest and most progressive architecture in the area where homes that cost far into the millions have been developed. Some of these homes boast truly breathtaking views from Durbanville Hills in the east right across to Cape Town, Table Mountain, magnificent views of Table Bay Harbour and up to Robben Island and beyond.
West Beach is mostly a residential area boasting a few Guesthouses, a Hotel and superb restaurants. The beach is spectacular and pristine. Here, one can expect true tranquillity and luxury. Another fantastic facet is that West Beach is close to fantastic shopping malls and other exciting entertainment facilities. West Beach in a nutshell is purely idyllic and perfect for one to relax and unwind.
