Very disappointed. from a SA resident perspective only suited to overseas visitors. It was a special anniversary and we wanted to treat ourselves to something special, we were so unimpressed we forfeited our R4200.00 deposit, there is no jacuzzi/spa as offered, no facilities other than B & B inclusive, no allowances made for self catering other than being able to make tea etc in the bedroom, no outside area to lounge in privately, and parking for a larger Cruiser vehicle fitted with a roof top not provided for. Sadly we couldn't stay and the situation rather spoilt our anniversary.

Addo Afrique is the best place to relax, enjoy nature and get away from our busy lives. While staying in one of the most beautiful log lodges, your every need will be taken care of by an excelllent team of staff who have a true passion for what they do. You feel like royalty! With wildlife surrounding you, you can enjoy nature while eating, showering, swimming, when you braai and even when you sit in your bed. My five days at Addo was truly an unforgettable experience and I would recommend it to all, young or old it will definitely be worth every cent, with excellent management making sure you are happy and comfortable.

We stayed in the elephant lodge for 3 nights, what is there to say. The lodge was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and we all had our own bathrooms. The lounge and kitchen was very comfortable. We felt at home straight away. Our food we ordered arrived and Gladys and Themba were so friendly and lovely and couldn't do enough for us that it felt like we had made some friends. The braais were lovely at night in the fire pit, so quiet except for all the animals!! It was lovely waking up to the view and the pool was beautiful and the spot where I got engaged! Addo Afrique will always hold a place in my heart not just for this but because of how breathtaking it was and I hope to return there as soon as I can. The price is reasonable, but you get so much more.
