About FNB Stadium Tours
The Award winning FNB stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg is famous for its resemblance to a Calabash (traditional African cooking pot). This mosaic of glass fibre concrete panels is easily seen at night or in the day as the panels reflect artificial and natural light very well.
The venue has been used for multiple purposes including acting as host to the opening and closing ceremonies as well as the first and final matches of the FIFA World Cup. Artists such as Neil Diamond and U2 have displayed their musical talent here and let's not forget the Tri-Nations rugby matches that were thrashed out on this very field.
