About Diving In New Denmark
New Denmark is a dive site off the coast of Algoa Bay in the Eastern Cape and consists of two peaks with overhangs and arcs investigate with lots to discover.
In summer you will see big schools of juvenile fish roaming through the area, while in winter the gullies are usually patrolled by large Ragged Tooth Sharks.
The reef is brightly coloured and home to a number of fascinating species such as Sea Fans, Anemones, Corals, Hydroids, exquisite Nudibranchs and the off course the wily Octopus. While exploring from depths of 6 to18 meters you may also be lucky enough to spot a John Dory or Turtle who visit the area from time to time.
