Map and Directions to Monyela Mountain Lodge in Hoedspruit, Valley of the Olifants, Limpopo

DIRECTIONS

From Nelspruit
• Take the R40 to Hoedspruit
• In Hoedspruit turn Left at 4 way onto the R527 towards Tunnel / Lydenberg
• Approx. 18 Km just past Blyde River Bridge turn Left onto Driehoek Rd
• Follow road for approx 4.8 Km to Monyela Mountain Lodge SIGN turn right
• Continue road all the way approx 4.5 Km passing through 3 gates (gravel road for approx. 3 Km then concrete strips for approx. 1.5 Km to the Lodge (the concrete part is quite a climb so it is advisable to keep you’re vehicle in 1st gear)

From Johannesburg / Pretoria
• Use the highway towards Witbank N4, Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg, Origstad then Hoedspruit
• Once past JG Strijdom Tunnel approx. 24 Km follow Blyde 1 Stop Signs
• Just before Blyde 1 Stop and before Blyderiver bridge (approx. 18 Km before Hoedspruit) turn Right onto Driehoek Road
• Follow road for approx 4.8 Km to Monyela Mountain Lodge SIGN, then turn right
• Continue road all the way approx 4.5 Km passing through 3 gates (gravel road for approx. 3 Km then concrete strips for approx. 1.5 Km to the Lodge (the concrete part is quite a climb so it is advisable to keep you’re vehicle in 1st gear)
