Shik Shack offers unique bed and breakfast accommodation near Hoedspruit and is situated off the Orpen Road approximately 35km from the town. The lodge is the ideal base to experience an African cultural stay, while being near to the surrounding attractions such as the Kruger National Park.

Shik Shack offers accommodation in traditional huts and safari tents. Each hut or tent is furnished with two single beds and has towels, mosquito nets, fans, storage and a bottle of water. Guests have access to a communal bathroom with hot water showers, toilets and basins.

A continental breakfast is included in the rates and served in the main building, where there is a shared kitchen as well for guests to prepare and cook their own meals.

Attractions

The hosts are able to arrange village walking tours, as well as day trips into Kruger National Park, or to the Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon, to name but a few attractions. We are 30km from Kruger National Park. We offer Cultural Walking Tours from Shik Shack, you can also plan day trips to the Panorama Route, Blyde River Canyon and Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.
