Situated only 15 km from Hoedspruit, which is one of the country’s premier eco-tourist destinations, and a short 30 minute drive to the world famous Kruger National Park.

Here you can experience the serenity of the Bushveld without the Hustle and Bustle. Escape from the city to this comfortable haven and watch the beautiful African Sunsets while sitting around your own private Boma. At the waterhole and hide, you can sit and watch a wide variety of antelope, zebra and giraffe right on your door step. If you are a bird lover, Etikweni Wildlife Estate is the perfect place to watch these feathered friends from a distance. Limpopo is known for more than 500 species being recorded.

ACCOMMODATION


Etikweni Wildlife Estate consists of a 2 bedroom chalet with twin beds in each of the rooms and each with its own en-suite bathroom. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated in a distinct African style. These inter-leading rooms are perfect for the family looking for a bushveld holiday.

The chalet also includes a large veranda, braai area, private boma and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, fridge and microwave. Please note there is no television for the kiddies, so bring along some games for them to play with.

The chalet is serviced everyday at a time that is convenient to the guest.
Off-street parking is available.

Facilities & Service


Optional services include laundry and catering services. You would have exclusive use on the game farm where you have the choice of walking or driving to experience the abundance of Fauna and Flora. Pack the bicycles for the entire family and explore Etikweni’s stunning wildlife up close and personal. Firewood and lighters are provided upon arrival.

Etikweni Wildlife Estate is in close proximity to various activities such as Hot Air Ballooning, Big 5 Game Drives, Hoedspruit Research and breeding centre, which is a centre catering for endangered species, including the unique cheetah project at Kapama Lodge, Walking with Lions and Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre. Visit the Nyani Tribal Village and experience the daily lives of a true Shangaan Tribe or visit the famous White lion of the Timbavati.

Etikweni is a birdwatchers paradise with an abundance of bird species. If you are more into art or museums, why not visit the Monsoon Gallery, which specialises in African Art, and traditional hunting artefacts. Etikweni is also a photographers dream.
