What`s special about the place? It`s situated on private property, surrounded by private game reserves with the Orpen and Phalaborwa Gate, entrance to the Kruger National Park nearby, the Panorama Route which is the only green canyon in the world, the Blyde Dam excursion down below and many more attractions in a radius of 40km.

Big Five Game Drives only five minutes away from your chalet, on open game drive vehicles in a private reserve of 14000ha. Departures in the morning and afternoons which and each drive is three hours long. This is the perfect place to get away from the demands of a city life.

Self Catering Accommodation

These five chalets are very private, cool with high thatch roofs. They all have air conditioning for the summer heat and a pool to die for at the main residence connected with walking paths. Each kitchen is fully equipped with a two plate stove, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle. Bedrooms en suite and air conditioned. There is a Boma (Barbeque area) outside each chalet and this is private and cosy. The chalets are serviced once a day and clean towels are provided daily. One of these chalets is wheelchair friendly. Very safe and secure premises.

A farm shop provides you with charcoal, wood, ice, cold drinks, fuel etc. The farm 'shop' is 60 years old and has been in the family since 1958.

Activities and Attractions

There are two walking trails for morning / afternoon walks, nyala and reedbuck. Game to spot are plains game: waterbuck, bushbuck, nyala, reedbuck, blue wildebeest, giraffe, warthog and a variety of birds.

For the more adventurous you will find hidden on one of our mystical trails a secret ’bush shower’ where one can cool off after an energetic bush trail! Fishing is available at a choice of three dams which one can expect to catch breem, bass, yellow fish, catfish and eel. Guests must please bring their own fishing gear.

The Klaserie River which is running through the property has beautiful picnic spots where family and friends can enjoy the peaceful tranquility of nature, water and for the more romantic couples bring your fruit basket and champagne.

This breakaway venue is a child friendly place and children are welcome to bring their bicycles. We also have playground which is safe to play close by the chalets. Dams situated in front of these chalets are safe to watch children playing.

The nearest town, doctor, pharmacy, restaurants and airport are 33km away. Kamogelo Tourism Centre in Hoedspruit town offers one the perfect gift of curios and local home industry products. One can also visit the Central Info and Reservations office that provides visitors with overview info in and around the Limpopo area.
