Phalaborwa is also known as the town with two summers and the climate is hot in summer but very pleasant in winter. The airport is only 10 minutes away and transfers can be arranged on request. ACCOMmODATION:Mopani Lodge offers 26 luxury and beautifully appointed chalets dotted amongst the trees on the property. All chalets consist of a lounge and kitchen combination with a separate bedroom and en suite bathroom, the exit from the lounge leads you to a private stoep to relax on. (Smoking is permitted on the stoep). All quarters are air conditioned and are fully equipped for self catering, this includes braai facilities. WEDDINGS:For this most special occasion Mopani Country Lodge offers a beautiful chapel, a honeymoon suite and a magnificent hall that can accommodate 300 people. We also tend to the catering, sound, and photography to make this a most memorable day. CONFERENCES:Mopani Country Lodge offers three fully equipped conference rooms. The conference rooms differ in size and this enables us to cater for a variety of conferences, from small events to bigger conferences of up to 300 delegates. Mopani Country Lodge is an ideal venue for these events, away from City life into the tranquil surroundings of the Bushveld. FACILITIES:Our sparkling pool is always in demand, especially during the summer months, adjacent to this is a well stocked and air conditioned Ladies Bar. For the young we have a trampoline, table tennis as well as two pool tables. ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS:Mopani Country Lodge is ideally situated to do sight seeing. DIRECTIONS: From Johannesburg Take the N1 from JHB - Polokwane. Proceed to Tzaneen, Gravelotte to Phalaborwa. +/- 10km from Phalaborwa turn right towards Mica. Cross the 4 way-stop and keep straight on. Mopani Country Lodge is situated +/- 6km further on your left. From Middelburg Take the N4 Witbank and proceed past Middelburg, turn left at the Belfast turn-off . Proceed through Dullstroom, Lydenburg and Orichstad on the R36. Exit the Strijdom tunnel and turn left on the R36. Turn right towards Mica - Phalaborwa. Turn left towards Mica at the Stop street. Follow the Phalaborwa signboards.
