Kololo is not just 'another' safari option in that the reserve offers guests the unique opportunity to commune and live with nature in pristine bushveld unfettered by fences around the accommodation area. The reserve is spread over 3 000 hectares of African bush which consists of open savannah grass plains, thick bushveld, mountains and valleys and due to the fact that the Big 5 are not resident on this reserve, but only 1km away on the neighbouring Welgevonden Game Reserve, the guests are able to make full use of mountain bike trails, many hiking and walking trails, or riding on horse back through this area.
