Simon’s Town is one of the most delightful little villages in Cape Town. Situated about 40 km outside of the city, en route to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, this quaint town is the residence of the South African navy and steeped in nautical history - its cobbled streets alive with restored cottages and homes, whilst the main road is an assortment of shops, coffee shops and restaurants ... cont.
Take the M3 from Cape Town till the last off ramp (you can't go any further!)
At top of off ramp turn left.
At T junction turn right.
You're now on the M4.
Proceed on the same road through Muizenburg, St James, Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek.
At Fish Hoek circle turn left to Simon's Town.
Continue through Glen cairn and the village of Simon's Town past Boulders and the golf course.
Watch for the Cape Times fresh Air Camp on the right hand side.
We're immediately after the Camp (Big White House, steep driveway!)
Take the N2 to the city.
Turn at the Muizenburg / M3 turn off (after off ramp to Hospital and Main road)
Stay on M3 and follow the directions as above.
Clovelly, Fish Hoek, Glencairn, Kalk Bay, Marina da Gama, Muizenberg, St James, Lakeside, Westlake, Smitswinkel Bay
