Sleeping seven guests in four bedrooms, the Main House is ideally suited to families or small groups. There is a spacious master bedroom as well as two bedrooms (one with a Queen size bed), one large room with two single beds and a small bedroom with a single bed. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom while the other three rooms share a bathroom. Facilities include TV with DStv, housekeeping, microwave, freezer and fridge, heater and fan, braai facilities, secure parking with remote gate and garden.

The Old Post Office is a quaint and romantic cottage set in the gardens of the Old Hotel. The cottage offers couples romantic and comfortable accommodation; the cottage is furnished with a Queen-sized bed and the en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet and basin provides the comfort to enjoy your leisure time away. There is a small but modern kitchen for those guests preferring to self cater.

The Post Master's Cottage

The Postmaster’s Cottage has been tastefully restored and is furnished with a King size bed and a sleeper couch provided in the living room. This unit is ideal for a couple or a family with children. The bathroom in the Postmaster's Cottage is fitted with a bath and shower combination, toilet and basin. This cottage can be used in addition to the Main House, or completely independently as it has its own basic kitchen.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
