Waterford Lodge is open-plan living at its best. The easy flow between kitchen, lounge, dining room and deck ensures that guests feel connected to one another. The living area of the main house is flanked by two double bedrooms, each with a full en-suite bathroom. A third en-suite bedroom is situated on a raised platform between the main house and adjacent dormitory wing. The self-contained dormitory unit specially created for kids and teens includes two rooms with three single beds in each room (six beds in total), two bathrooms, a kids’ lounge and eating area, making this the ideal choice for a fun family getaway. This home includes a fantastic braai and entertainment area overlooking the dam and the heated plunge pool on the deck can be enjoyed throughout the winter. Waterford is equipped with a TV with DStv.

Stoneford Lodge is a style sensation that will leave you wanting for nothing. The main house includes an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room and a front deck area that runs the full length of the house and completely opens up to take advantage of the stunning views of the dam. On either side of the main living area, you will find a luxurious double room with en-suite bathroom offering both bath and shower. A separate guest cottage offers an additional bedroom with king size bed, en-suite shower and toilet. Stoneford has a double-storey dormitory wing consisting of a lounge, eating area and two bathrooms downstairs, and an open-plan sleeping area with 8 single beds upstairs.

The smallest lodge in our Star Dam Estate portfolio, on either side of the main living area, you will find two en-suite bedrooms, one with a king size bed, and the other a dorm style with four single beds. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating and heated towel rails. The lodge offers a spacious and well-equipped open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge with a large fireplace. A wooden deck runs the full length of the house with stack-away doors that fold away to reveal panoramic views of the dam. There is no TV at Ingleford Lodge. A Weber braai for guests` enjoyment but please remember to bring your own charcoal and firelighters. Please note braai-ing is strictly prohibited on the wooden deck

Inkanyezi Lodge sleeps eleven guests and has five tasteful and decorated bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen and living area. The two master bedrooms are furnished with extra length King-size beds and overlook the dam. Bedroom three is furnished with two three quarter beds. These three rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Bedroom four is furnished with two three quarter beds and bedroom five is furnished with a double bed and single bunk bed ideal for children. These two rooms share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, cutlery and crockery and a counter with chairs. The dining area seats 10 guests and the lounge has a comfortable couch, fireplace and a flat screen TV with DStv. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The lodge offers access to a large wooden deck with an umbrella and an outdoor lounge set. A small fishing boat is also available for rental. Outside is a wooden deck with outdoor seating. Braai facilities are available.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      Why do I have to pay a deposit?

      This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

      Can I pay the deposit at month end?

      That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.
