What views!! Wow. LOVED the stay.

It was a good stay at Star Dam. Quite difficult terrain to get through when driving to the Estate so would highly recommend a car with slightly higher ground clearance like an SUV or Bakkie. Overall — great location.

We had a wonderful stay at STAR DAM ESTATES. The cottage was clean and well equipped - we had everything we needed. We were surprised to find canoes we could use and the boys spent a large portion of the weekend on the dam fishing. It was peaceful and most importantly, quiet. We will definitely be back. We feel like we have found our secret getaway!

A magnificent home and setting. We had the most wonderful stay. The view and the brilliant trout fishing blew us away. Big thanks to Joyce and Thabi - two fabulous housekeepers- So kind and friendly!

We discovered a true gem not far from home, loved our stay here, we rode horses, went fishing and just had a digital detox, was wonderful and highly recommended

We had and an amazing weekend at Star Dam estate. The accommodation was perfect and we were well looked after by Shaun /Ashton and Thabi. We didn’t see our kids as they were fishing, paddling , swimming and horse riding. We will definitely be making this our local holiday destination of choice.

Beautiful scenery and a beautiful setting. Be sure to take fishing rods and paddle skis. No comms so also be prepared for a phone / social media detox!

The place is AMAZING. Lara was always available to assist. Place was clean with all required ammenities available. Just a few glitches but nothing worth complain. one point of improvement is signage along the route including the farm will go a long way.
