Stone Cottage

The Stone Cottages are situated on a hill above the dam and boasts panoramic views over the valley. It comes beautifully finished and fully equipped. The entire unit can accommodate up to 6 people. The upstairs has 1 large bedroom with 2 king-size beds and a full bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin, whilst downstairs contains an additional bedroom fitted with 2 single beds and a full bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There is also an open-plan kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. The living area has comfortable seating. The cottage can be separated into completely independent and private split level accommodation comprising of a B&B unit upstairs and a self-catering unit downstairs.

Waterfront Cottage

The cottage is situated right on the lake and has two bedrooms, each furnished with a king-size bed. There is a bathroom with a bath and a shower. The cottage comprises an open-plan living space with a built-in fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave. The cottage is equipped with a TV with hotel package DStv channels.

Honeymoon Suite

This beautiful suite, settled against the water’s edge, sleeps two people on a king-size bed and, with its romantic view, it is featured as our honeymoon suite. The Honeymoon Suite comes tastefully decorated and includes a full en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basis. It also features a bar-fridge and coffee station. With a designated parking bay and close proximity to the Springholm Breakfast Room, there is no need to trek far afield. Standard Double Room

This room can sleep two people in two single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed on request. The Standard Double Room also comes fully equipped with a mini-fridge, coffee station and a full bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. It is within easy reach of the Breakfast Room, this room is perfectly positioned to enjoy all the facilities at Springholm, including the trout dam, birdlife and delicious breakfast meals.

Standard Waterfront Room

The Standard Waterfront Rooms are 20 metres from Springholm’s teeming trout dam or a mere 20 metres from the water’s edge. This two sleeper is equipped with a king-size bed and comes fully equipped with a mini-fridge, coffee station, cosy electric blanket and a full en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. The designated parking bay is right outside the room and this allows you to kick back and relax. Everything, including lawns for picnicking, the Springholm Breakfast Room, the dam and the resident birdlife are within easy strolling distance.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
