Tucked away in a riverine area in the conservancy, this River Cabin offers guests the opportunity to experience the incredible tranquility of a forest environment. The Cabin consists of two A-frame structures - one which is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen with sleeper couch and dining space. A unique covered walkway inspired by Japanese torii leads you to your large bedroom frunished with a Queen-size bed adn an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. This accommodation is designed to bring you the joys of being outdoors, without sacrificing comfort and style. The Cabin is equipped with bedding, towels, spare blankets, an electric blanket (seasonal), hot water bottles for cooler evenings, binoculars, wildlife/tree books, and reading material. Basic supplies such as soaps, dishwashing liquid, firewood, firelighters, salt, pepper, filter coffee, sugar and tea are all provided. Positioned next to a trickling stream, guests will enjoy the sound of water, the rustle of the forest overhead, and birds song from the privacy of their wood-fired hot tub. There is a private outdoor braai area and wood-fired pizza oven next to the hot tub.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
